Title:  My 1/350 TOS Starship Enterprise
Description:  My Polar Lights 1/350 Original series Enterprise. I built and lit the model to reflect the actual 11' filming model during the production of the series. The grid lines were filled in and sanded smooth, the ship was base coated using my Iwata Airbrush and Model Master and Tamiya paints mixed, based on my reference material. The model was lit internally to scale and the rotating engine speed adjusted to match, again, the 11' Filming Model. The lighting inside each dome feature five stay amber lights while the smaller Leds fire off at random. Although I initially used the Polar Lights lighting kit, after all my mods it no longer represents the stock kit.

Mark Myer's USS Enterprise model is fantastic to the eye! I love how it looks so true to the TV studio USS Enterprise filming model. The way it looks in high-definition TV, today.

I have been following the model work of Mark Myers for a few years. His model-craft has always impressed me greatly. I have yet to see anyone else that can surpass his attention to detail, or all-around talents. This Enterprise model is another example of his brilliance as a builder.

I've been a fan of Mark Myer's work for years, and this is some of his very best. I love the way he gets the lighting appropriate to the scale, and the correct yellow-white instead of the blue-white that's common with today's LEDs. And thank goodness he got rid of those grid lines! First-rate work! -- Robert J. Sawyer, Hugo Award-winning science-fiction writer

I liked how he mixed his own paints and lowered the intensity of the lights.

This guy's work is amazing. His attention to detail and craftsmanship puts Mark in a special class. Some of the shots of his work have fooled me thinking it was a real prop or miniature.

I've had the privilege to actually see Mark's works up close and the attention to detail is painstaking. Somebody oughta' hire this guy!!

Although I've been following his work for years, Mark Myers' modeling skills continue to amaze and inspire me. Like many of his builds, the Enterprise is a museum-quality piece that could stand up under the close scrutiny of cameras and be used for an FX shot. He continues to raise the bar for what can be done with a mass-market kit, taking its potential to the max.

This is a amazing example of how to do it right. The paint and weathering are perfect. His lighting is dead on as is his Bussards effect(every other builds are way too bright and inaccurate), a work of art.
